Moses Itauma Calls for Hrgovic Rematch After Loss

Moses Itauma is eager for a rematch with Filip Hrgovic after being stopped in the ninth round during their fight on Saturday night at the O2 Arena in London. Itauma was leading on all three judges' scorecards after eight rounds but succumbed to exhaustion in the ninth, allowing Hrgovic to secure a comeback victory.

Following the fight, Itauma was taken to the hospital but was released hours later. He contacted his promoter, Warren, to express his desire for an immediate rematch.

Warren acknowledged Itauma's eagerness but suggested he take a break from boxing and spend time with family before returning to the ring. Warren indicated that Itauma should have one or two fights at a lower level before attempting to fight Hrgovic again.

He noted that Itauma's performance showed he belongs at a high level but emphasized the need for strategic planning moving forward.
