Davido Condemns Bullying at Edo School, Calls for Action

Afrobeat singer Davido, whose full name is David Adeleke, expressed outrage over a viral video depicting a brutal bullying incident involving students at Igbinedion Secondary School in Edo State. In his response, he condemned the behavior, referring to the bullies as "fucking animals" and expressing disgust at the footage, which showed two male students repeatedly assaulting a fellow student who was on the ground, while a third student recorded the incident.

The video sparked widespread outrage on social media, prompting immediate action from school authorities. The school announced that the students involved in the bullying would be expelled, and the student who recorded the incident would be suspended.

Additionally, the Edo State Police Command confirmed the expulsion and suspension, with spokesperson Eno Ikioyedem stating that a full investigation would be conducted. The police strongly condemned the act of bullying and violence among students, asserting that anyone found culpable would face the full weight of the law.
