Davido Condemns Bullying at Edo School After Viral Video

Afrobeat singer Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, expressed outrage over a viral video depicting bullying at Igbinedion Secondary School in Edo State. The video showed two male students brutally assaulting a fellow student who was on the ground, prompting Davido to label the bullies as "fucking animals" in his response.

The incident sparked widespread outrage on social media, leading to immediate action from the school authorities. They confirmed that the students involved in the bullying would be expelled, while others who recorded the incident would face suspension.

The Edo State Police Command, represented by spokesperson Eno Ikioyedem, also confirmed the expulsion and suspension, stating that a full investigation would be conducted. The police condemned the act of bullying and violence among students, asserting that anyone found culpable would face the full weight of the law.
