Anyiam Chimkwesiri Wins Verboheit Mathematics Competition

Anyiam Chimkwesiri emerged as the winner of the Verboheit Mathematics Competition, which took place with 350 participants from Abuja, Lagos, Ogun State, and Ondo State. The second place was awarded to Ukem Obong from Danison Kina High School, while Kuranga Muhammad from Vetland Senior Grammar School secured third place.

Abdullah Adeyemo from Greater Tomorrow International College received the fourth place award. The competition, organized by Tosin Ojo, aimed to highlight mathematics as a crucial skill for life, encouraging parents to teach their children numeracy as a core soft skill.

Ojo noted the need for students to develop perseverance, hard work, and resilience in mathematics, emphasizing that the competition was structured over three months to motivate participants. A total of 353 applications were received, and Adeyemo pledged to continue excelling in his studies.

The event recognized the importance of quality education and the need for students to practice problem-solving skills.
