Ogbeid Ihama Presents APC Primary Results to Oba Ewuare II

On Friday, Ogbeid Ihama, a former member of the House of Representatives, presented the results of the APC senatorial primary election to Oba Ewuare II of Benin. Ihama secured the highest number of votes, totaling 27,154, while his opponents, Neda Imasuen and Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, received 13,580 and 6,785 votes, respectively.

The presentation took place at the palace, where Ihama sought the monarch's blessings for his political journey. He was accompanied by notable APC members, including former Deputy Governor Pius Odubu and APC State Chairman Emperor Jarrett Tenebe.

During the visit, Oba Ewuare II emphasized the importance of peace and unity among APC members in Edo State, urging them to embrace reconciliation and work together for progress. He humorously inquired if the result sheet displayed was generated by artificial intelligence, which elicited laughter from the attendees.

The Oba also called for patience and trust in divine providence during the political process.
