Yari Asserts Divine Appointment in APC Campaign for Tinubu

Abdulaziz Yari, serving as the director-general of the APC Campaign Council, spoke on Friday in Gusau, Zamfara State, during a consultation meeting aimed at mobilizing support for Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Yari stated that while his role requires him to promote Tinubu's achievements nationwide, he felt it essential to engage with local political stakeholders in his home state.

He expressed confidence that Zamfara would provide substantial support for Tinubu, asserting that the campaign would focus on the administration's performance rather than attacking opponents. Yari acknowledged the hardships caused by some economic policies of the Tinubu administration but defended them as necessary reforms for the country's economic repositioning.

He called for unity among party members and emphasized that the responsibility for securing victory in the elections lies with all stakeholders, not just himself.
