APC Chairman Yilwatda Donates N15m to Plateau Attack Victims

On Saturday, APC Chairman Yilwatda visited victims of a recent attack in Angwan Rukuba, Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State. Accompanied by his wife, Martina Yilwatda, he expressed sympathy for the victims receiving treatment at Jos University Teaching Hospital.

Yilwatda described the attack as barbaric and unacceptable, urging for urgent collective action to prevent further violence. He reaffirmed the commitment of the federal government, led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to protect lives and property, stressing that restoring peace in Plateau is a priority.

During the visit, he announced a donation of N15 million to assist victims with medical expenses and to alleviate their physical and emotional trauma. Yilwatda extended condolences to the families of those killed and praised the hospital staff for their professional response.

He also warned against politicizing the tragedy and called for unity among political, religious, and traditional leaders to address the root causes of violence in the state.
