APC's Basiru Links FCT Election Success to Wike's Work

Ajibola Basiru, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has attributed the successful outcome of the recent local government elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to the performance of Nyesom Wike, the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory. Basiru noted that although Wike is not a member of the APC, his work has significantly contributed to the party's success under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.

He emphasized that Wike's efforts in infrastructure development across the FCT over the past two and a half years have played a crucial role in the party's electoral victories. Basiru pointed out improvements in both urban centers and suburban communities, crediting Wike's strong performance and the APC's strategic engagement in selecting credible candidates with a solid political track record across various parties as key factors in their electoral success in the FCT.
