APC's Bichi Predicts Tinubu's Victory in Kano 2027 Elections

Rabi U. Bichi, the managing director of Hadejia Jama River Basin Development Authority, expressed optimism regarding Bola Tinubu's prospects for a landslide victory in Kano during the 2027 presidential elections.

Speaking to newsmen on Friday, Bichi attributed this anticipated success to the unprecedented consolidation of the APC's political structure in the state. He highlighted the significant support from major blocs, including the legacy structure of former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and the National Assembly caucus led by Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin.

Bichi noted that recent high-profile defections from the PDP and NNPP have unified support behind Tinubu's candidacy. The APC's campaign in Kano has already raised N50 million to cover half of the presidential nomination form costs, demonstrating strong grassroots mobilization.

Bichi emphasized that Tinubu's delivery of federal projects and strategic roles for Kano indigenes would further solidify his support, especially following the defection of Governor Abba Yusuf, which he believes enhances Tinubu's incumbency advantage in the upcoming elections.
