APC Holds Peaceful Congress Across 193 Wards in Kwara

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State held congresses across 193 wards on Wednesday, affirming new leadership with minimal conflict. The state chairman, Princ Sundai Fagbemi, reported that the exercise was largely peaceful and successful, indicating a significant step towards solidifying the party's structure.

Alhaji Abdullahi Samari, the deputy chairman, noted that the screening process for candidates was essential to ensure that worthy individuals were selected to represent the party. The congress saw participation from various stakeholders, including elders, women, and youth, with Hon Suleiman Tejidini reporting that the exercise in Ilorin West local government was smooth and free of rancor.
