APC Conducts Peaceful Ward Congresses in Katsina State

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State held successful ward congresses across 361 electoral wards on Friday, conducted in a peaceful and orderly atmosphere. Mr.

Jamilu Uwai Zaki, the chairman of the ward local government congress appeal committee, confirmed that the congress adhered to party guidelines and was a positive signal for the 2027 general elections. The process was characterized by transparency and fairness, providing equal opportunities for all members.

Zaki noted that no appeal petitions or complaints were submitted for consideration. Bashir Ibrahim Boni, chairman of the screening committee, reported that the screening process was smooth and without challenges, ensuring that all candidates met the necessary requirements.

Chief Staff Governor Dikko Umaru Radda and Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir emphasized the importance of consolidating the party's structure for sustained progress, highlighting improved security measures that facilitated smooth access to the wards during the congress.
