APC Completes Candidate Upload for 2027 Elections Early

The All Progressives Congress (APC), led by National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has completed the upload of all its candidates for the 2027 general election into the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal ahead of the deadline. This announcement was made by Yilwatda through his Special Adviser on Media and Information Strategy, Abimbola Tooki.

The upload included candidates for all elective positions, demonstrating the party's organizational strength and readiness for the upcoming elections. Yilwatda noted that while APC met the original deadline, other political parties struggled and requested additional time, leading INEC to extend the deadline from August 8, 2026, to August 11, 2026.

He emphasized that the successful completion of this process reflects the party's capacity for internal coordination and planning, crucial for the significant electoral contest ahead. Yilwatda highlighted the meticulous coordination required among various party structures to achieve this milestone.
