Aliyu Urges APC Officials to Ensure Success in 2027 Elections

During a recent monitoring visit to the All Progressives Congress (APC) congresses in Sokoto State, Governor Ahmadu Aliyu tasked newly elected officials to work diligently to ensure the party's success in the upcoming 2027 elections. He emphasized the importance of unity and commitment among party members, urging them to dedicate themselves to securing votes.

Aliyu commended the APC national secretariat for conducting the congresses competently and assured the people of Sokoto that the party remains united and strong. The congresses resulted in the election of 27 officials across 23 local government areas, including Hayatu Muhammad as chairman and Yakubu Dauda Indiy as vice chairman in Bodinga Local Government Area.

Other notable elections included Alhaji Umaru Nabara and Alhaji Masarana in Wamakko Local Government Area. Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, praised the governor for his numerous projects across the state and called for continued support for the administration.
