APC Directs Swearing-In of Newly Elected Executives

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has issued a directive for the swearing-in of newly elected executives from the recent local government congress, which took place on February 18. The announcement was made through a statement from the party's national public secretary, Felix Morka, on Tuesday.

The APC emphasized that the duly elected officials must be formally sworn in to commence their official duties within the party. The statement highlighted that while some states have already conducted their congresses, others are still in the process, with a few states holding their congresses on Tuesday.

The party acknowledged that the earlier ward and local government congresses were not entirely free of disputes, with some aggrieved members reportedly seeking legal redress. The APC national leadership expressed gratitude to members and stakeholders for their support in ensuring a peaceful conduct of the congresses across the country and congratulated the newly elected officials.
