APC Targets 100 Million Nigerians Ahead of 2026 Convention

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria's ruling party, is gearing up for its 2026 convention, scheduled for March 26-27, 2026, in Abuja. During this event, the party will welcome its 33rd governor, following the reception of its 32nd governor.

The APC has set an ambitious target to communicate its "Renew Hope" agenda to a minimum of 100 million Nigerians, with the goal of showcasing the party's commitment to democracy. Maham Bago, the Niger State governor and chairman of the Digital Media Committee, urged members to demonstrate dedication and sacrifice to achieve this target.

Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and co-chairman of the committee, emphasized the importance of effectively informing a global audience, aiming to reach approximately 400 million people worldwide through digital tools. The APC's strategy highlights the significance of digital media in engaging citizens and promoting the party's vision.
