APC National Convention to Host 8,453 Delegates in Abuja

The All Progressives Congress (APC) will host a national convention in Abuja, expecting a total of 8,453 delegates from across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones. Minister of State Mohammed Idris announced this at a press conference, emphasizing the convention's aim to reflect the party's inclusivity and unity.

He assured that comprehensive arrangements are in place to accommodate and accredit delegates, ensuring that no one is left out. The minister also highlighted the seamless movement of delegates and the absence of security incidents, indicating an improvement in the security situation and ongoing infrastructure development across the country.

Additionally, a fully equipped media center will operate at the convention venue to guarantee the free flow of information, with accredited media organizations granted access for coverage. Idris urged journalists to uphold professional reporting in the nation's interest, reiterating that Nigeria remains central to all efforts.
