APC's Aminu Masari Explains Nomination Form Denials

Alhaji Aminu Masari, the chairman of the APC Central Committee, addressed concerns regarding the refusal to sell nomination forms to some aspirants ahead of the APC's 8th national convention, scheduled for March 27-28, 2026. During a media briefing in Abuja, Masari stated that the decision was made to prevent confusion and potential destabilization within the party.

He emphasized that forms were sold based on specific zones, and any aspirants denied access were suspected of attempting to create confusion. Masari clarified that the party's structure is zone-based, and the distribution of forms was aligned with this framework.

He reassured that the party would not tolerate actions that could destabilize it and noted that he was unaware of any legal actions taken by those denied forms. The briefing was attended by various dignitaries, including ministers and party officials.
