APC Denies Involvement in Accord Party Member's Murder

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied any involvement in the murder of Ajayi Rogba, a member of the Accord Party, which occurred on the night of August 15, 2023, in Osun State. Siji Olamiju, speaking on behalf of the APC, warned against politicizing the death and urged respect for the grieving family.

He criticized suggestions made by Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke that the killing was carried out by thugs loyal to the APC. Olamiju called for a thorough investigation by the police and relevant security agencies, emphasizing the need for an impartial and professional inquiry rather than speculative political accusations.

He stated that the APC is committed to the rule of law and justice, asserting that anyone found culpable should face the law, regardless of political affiliation. Olamiju appealed for restraint from public officials and urged stakeholders to allow the truth to emerge through due process.
