PDP Candidate Critiques Oyebanji's Development Record

Dr. Oluwol Oluyed, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate for Ekiti State, criticized the current administration led by Governor Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its inability to deliver meaningful dividends of democracy.

During a statement in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, Oluyed expressed disappointment over the lack of visible development projects despite the resources available to the state. He emphasized that the Oyebanji administration has not inaugurated any significant projects in nearly three years, raising concerns about the transparency and accountability of resource utilization.

Oluyed pointed out that while other states have attracted presidential visits for project inaugurations, Ekiti has seen no such developments. APC's Segun Dipe dismissed Oluyed's accusations, asserting that the Oyebanji administration has made significant progress and deserves a second term.

Dipe highlighted that the administration has been actively engaging with President Bola Tinubu, indicating a positive relationship and ongoing development efforts.
