Oluyede Dismisses False Narratives in Ekiti Guber Race

Dr. Wole Oluyede, a gubernatorial aspirant for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, publicly dismissed allegations of false narratives concerning his candidacy. He stated that no amount of intimidation or pressure would prevent him from his mission to rescue the people of Ekiti from poverty and poor leadership.

Oluyede addressed concerns about a recent quiet period in his campaign, labeling these as false narratives propagated by the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its supporters. He emphasized that the people of Ekiti deserve better leadership and criticized the directionless administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

Oluyede reassured supporters that he is not intimidated by the APC's tactics and expressed confidence in his campaign ahead of the governorship election scheduled for June 20, 2026. He accused the APC of using propagandists to create a false impression of the upcoming election, which he described as merely a coronation for Oyebanji, referencing past defeats of the APC in similar elections.
