APC Welcomes Kwankwaso, Says National Chairman Amid Political Realignment Speculations

The national chairman of the APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, confirmed that the party remains open to welcoming former presidential candidate Rabi'u Kwankwaso.

This statement comes amid political realignment speculations in Kano State, triggered by the recent defection of Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf and other members to the APC from the NNPP. Yilwatda emphasized that while there have been no negotiations yet, the party warmly receives Kwankwaso should he choose to join.

He also highlighted the importance of President Bola Tinubu's international trips in attracting foreign investments and negotiating bilateral agreements to address security concerns.
