APC Drops Gov Uzodimma in Major Shake-Up Ahead of National Convention

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has made a significant shake-up by dropping Governor Hope Uzodimma as the chairman of the central coordinating committee for the party's national convention scheduled for March 26-27. He has been replaced by the former Governor of Katsina State.

The party's leadership reconstituted the committee, expanding its membership from 73 to 90, including new figures like Senator Barri Mpigi and Anyim Pius Anyim. The APC also named Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the Governor of Kwara State, as the vice-chairman.

The development was announced by Ajibola Basiru, the National Secretary of the APC. The party's leader, Nentawe Yilwatda, met with the President at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The move has generated mixed reactions from Nigerian politicians and citizens, with some expressing confidence in the APC's electoral prospects while others criticize the party's actions.
