APC Replaces Uzodimma with Masari as National Convention Committee Chairman

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has removed Hope Uzodimma as the National Convention Committee Chairman and replaced him with former Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari. The decision was announced in an official statement by the party's National Secretary, Surajudeen Basiru.

The restructuring aims to enhance the committee's structure and consultation with stakeholders. The committee has been expanded to include 90 members, with new additions like Senator Barri Mpigi and former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim as Vice Chairman.

Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will serve as Vice Chairman II, and Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni remains the Secretary of the committee. This reshuffle is part of efforts to ensure a smooth coordination of the national convention, which is expected to shape the party's internal leadership structure for future electoral contests.
