APC Elects New Executives in Imo and Katsina States

The All Progressives Congress (APC) conducted state congresses in Imo and Katsina on Tuesday, electing new state executives. In Imo State, Austin Onyedebelu was elected as the new state chairman, with Onyekachi Ibezim becoming the state secretary through a consensus arrangement during the congress held at Ndubuisi Kanu Square in Owerri.

Onyedebelu, a former managing director of the Imo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (ISOPADEC), expressed his commitment to building on the successes of his predecessor, Dr. Macdonald Eber.

The congress was attended by several dignitaries, including Governor Hope Uzodimma. In Katsina State, Bashir Gambo Saulawa was re-elected as state chairman, with Bala Abu Musawa as deputy chairman.

The congress also saw the election of various zonal leaders and emphasized a peaceful and orderly process, aiming to strengthen party unity and positively influence the APC's future political engagements.
