APC France Supports Zamfara Governor's Defection to APC

The APC France chapter has expressed support for the recent defection of Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal from the People's Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Chairperson Amina Suzuki described Lawal's move as a major political development that enhances the coalition's backing for President Bola Tinubu.

This decision, made during a stakeholders' meeting at the Governor's House in Gusau, reflects growing confidence among political leaders and citizens in the reform-driven leadership of President Tinubu. Suzuki emphasized that Lawal's defection signifies an increase in political support for the ruling party in the North West geopolitical zone, which remains a crucial voting bloc in Nigeria's democratic process.

She noted that this shift indicates a broader endorsement of Tinubu's agenda and aims to strengthen the party's political structure ahead of future elections.
