APC Governors' Forum Denies Removal of Hope Uzodimma

The Progress Governors' Forum has officially refuted claims regarding the removal of Hope Uzodimma as its chairman. In a statement issued on Thursday by the Director General of the forum, Folorunso Aluko, the allegations were described as entirely false and misleading, lacking any basis in truth.

The forum emphasized that it has no knowledge of any decision to remove Uzodimma, who is also the governor of Imo State. Aluko reiterated that Uzodimma remains the leader of the forum and continues to enjoy the confidence of its members.

The statement called for calm and unity among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), urging them to disregard the misleading reports that aim to create confusion within the forum. Uzodimma is currently serving his second term as governor of Imo State and has been the chairman of the Progress Governors' Forum since 2024, following the resignation of former Kebbi State Governor Atiku Bagudu.
