Uzodinma Remains PGF Chairman, Sani Confirms Unity

Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, has reaffirmed that Hope Uzodinma, the Governor of Imo State, continues to serve as the chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF). This statement comes in response to media reports suggesting a leadership crisis within the forum, which allegedly indicated that Uzodinma might be replaced by Peter Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State.

Sani, who is also the vice chairman of the forum, clarified that there is no leadership change and that the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors remain united. He addressed the situation during an interview on a political program, stating that while disagreements may occur, they do not signify a crisis.

Sani assured that any minor misunderstandings have been settled and emphasized the importance of the governors working together to support the APC administration and advance common governance priorities.
