Vunobolki Resigns from APC, Joins PDP in Adamawa

Mauric Vunobolki, a prominent governorship aspirant in Adamawa State, announced his resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a press briefing in Yola on Tuesday. He expressed concerns regarding the lack of transparency and fairness in the internal democratic processes within the APC, stating that recent developments contradicted earlier assurances of equity and a level playing field.

Vunobolki's decision to defect to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) comes as he anticipates that APC Governor Ahmadu Fintiri may also join the party in the future. He described the current political climate as increasingly driven by imposition rather than democratic choice, indicating a trend towards manipulation of decisions rather than a transparent and credible process.

Although Vunobolki has not yet decided on his next political move, he urged support across the state as he withdraws from the APC, with expectations that similar resignations may occur soon.
