Wike Accuses Uzodinma, Abdulrazaq of Undermining Him

Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory minister and former governor of Rivers State, publicly accused Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma and Kwara State Governor Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of undermining him. During a media chat in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, Wike expressed his disappointment that both governors had not reciprocated the support he previously extended to them.

He specifically accused Governor Abdulrazaq of leading a campaign against him, stating, “Take for example, Kwara, he has been the one championing this campaign against me everywhere.” Wike confirmed that he had confronted Abdulrazaq about his behavior, asserting, “I don’t talk about what I cannot defend.” Additionally, Wike mentioned a strained relationship with Governor Uzodinma, accusing him of failing to provide support despite Wike's past assistance. Wike lamented, “Governor Hope, he knows the support I give to him,” indicating his frustration with the lack of loyalty from both governors.
