ADC Chieftain Critiques APC Ahead of 2027 Elections

Ladan Salihu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed strong criticism of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government, stating it will not be able to withstand the anger of Nigerians during the 2027 general elections. In an interview on Channels Television's Sunday Politics, Salihu reiterated the ADC's demand for the resignation of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof.

Joash Amupitan, citing allegations of bias and a loss of confidence in the electoral body. He emphasized that the APC government would fail the credibility test at the polls, asserting that the opposition will intensify its campaign for Amupitan's removal.

Salihu claimed that the APC is afraid of the opposition despite controlling 31 states and holding a majority in the National Assembly. He expressed confidence that the ADC would emerge victorious in the 2027 elections.
