APC Group Urges Swift Implementation of Military Pensions Board

A group within the All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged the immediate implementation of the military pensions board appointment, commending President Bola Tinubu for his efforts to enhance transparency and efficiency in governance, particularly regarding military pensions. The group, led by Musa Tsoken, praised the president's approval of the appointment of retired Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Adamu as chairman of the Military Pension Board, effective December 4, 2025.

Tsoken noted that Adamu's appointment reflects the administration's commitment to leveraging professional experience to advance the welfare of retired military personnel and their families. The group called for the full implementation of the presidential directive to enable Adamu to assume office promptly, highlighting his expertise in military finance and budget management.

They stressed the importance of executing government decisions in good faith and with utmost dispatch, urging relevant institutions to ensure a smooth transition process. The APC group expressed optimism that timely action on this appointment would strengthen governance and enhance service delivery for retired military personnel.
