APC to Establish Template for Future Conventions

The All Progressives Congress (APC) is preparing to set a template for future conventions, as stated by the chairman of the convention committee, former Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari, during an inauguration meeting in Abuja. Masari assured that the upcoming convention, expected to be seamless and transparent, will be a significant event under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.

He emphasized that the committee's work is crucial for ensuring the party emerges stronger and more united ahead of the 2027 general elections. The committee includes notable figures such as former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim, Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, and Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, among others.

The National Working Committee (NWC) will coordinate efforts to ensure effective delivery for the 2026 convention, which aims to involve stakeholders fairly and transparently.
