APC Inaugurates Masari-led Committee for 2026 Convention

The All Progressives Congress (APC) inaugurated a National Central Coordinating Committee for its 2026 National Convention, led by Aminu Bello Masari, the former governor of Katsina State. The inauguration took place at the APC national secretariat in Abuja, marking a significant milestone in the party's journey.

Professor Nentaw Yilwatda, the APC's national chairman, described the occasion as a defining moment that underscores the party's enduring commitment to democratic values. He highlighted the party's recent electoral successes, including strong performances in the Federal Capital Territory, Kano State, and Rivers State, which affirm the APC's dominance and dispel claims from opposition elements.

Masari expressed gratitude for the leadership of APC President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and emphasized that the national convention is not merely a statutory exercise but an opportunity to reflect and recommit to the principles that bind the party members together.
