Cornelius Ojelabi Re-elected as Lagos APC Chairman

Cornelius Ojelabi was re-elected as the chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a state congress held on Tuesday at Mobolaji Johnson Stadium. The congress saw the participation of 376 ward delegates from across Lagos State.

The election was facilitated by the Lagos State Congress Committee, represented by Stella Okotet, who presented a consensus list that was subsequently affirmed through a voice vote. Alongside Ojelabi, the newly elected state executive includes Moshood Olanrewaju as deputy chairman, Adeola Jokomba as secretary, Azizat Mariam as assistant secretary, Sey Oladejo as public secretary, Babajid Sundai as vice chairman, Shola Eletu as woman leader, and Ayodel Adewal as organizing secretary.

The event was attended by notable figures including Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, Speaker of the State House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa, and former Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, among others.
