Ojelabi Re-elected Unopposed as Lagos APC Chairman

Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi was re-elected unopposed for a four-year term as the chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during a congress at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena. The event saw approximately 2,000 delegates from the state's 20 local government areas and 37 local council development areas endorse Ojelabi, reflecting a strong party culture and commitment to unity.

Stella Okotet, chair of the state congress committee, confirmed the consensus arrangement, emphasizing adherence to party guidelines. Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu praised the party's unity and its strategic role within the national framework, while Ojelabi highlighted the importance of inclusivity and grassroots mobilization.

The congress also ratified a broad state executive committee, which includes Moshood Mayegun as deputy chairman and Dr. Adeola Jokomba as secretary, aiming to sustain engagement across diverse communities in Lagos.
