APC Prepares for National Convention to Adopt Tinubu

The All Progressives Congress (APC) is gearing up for its national convention, set to take place on Friday and Saturday, where the party aims to adopt Bola Tinubu as its presidential candidate for the 2027 elections. Key party leaders, including former Cross River State Governor Ben Ayade, former House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara, and former Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari, have declared their readiness for the convention.

They emphasized that the APC is not only preparing for the convention but is also focused on the upcoming elections, with a goal of winning 90 percent of the votes cast in Nigeria. Masari, who is the chairman of the convention's central coordinating committee, reiterated the party's commitment to addressing both domestic and global issues.
