APC Revises Aspirants List, Adds Ben Murray-Bruce

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has made a significant revision to its list of cleared senatorial aspirants for the upcoming primaries, now including Ben Murray-Bruce, who represents Bayelsa East. This update, announced by APC's National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, reduces the number of aspirants from 47 to 44.

The statement accompanying the revised list did not clarify the reasons for the removals. Notably, several candidates have voluntarily withdrawn from the race, including Abdulkarim Abubakar from Nasarawa West and others from various districts.

The revised list also indicates that some aspirants, such as Daniel Effiong Asuquo from Cross River South and Marian Nnamaka Ogoh from Delta North, have been retained. The APC urges stakeholders to maintain transparency and orderliness throughout the ongoing primary election process.
