APC Unveils Cleared Senatorial Candidates for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has published a list of senatorial candidates who have been cleared to contest in the upcoming 2027 general elections, following the completion of primaries across 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory. The list includes candidates whose nominations have been ratified, while some senatorial districts are still pending.

Key figures include Orji Uzor Kalu, who secured the APC ticket for Abia North, and other candidates such as Erondu Uchenna for Abia South, Emeka Atuma for Abia Central, and Nelson Onubuogu for Anambra State. In Enugu State, Osita Ngwu, Kelvin Chukwu, and Ikechukwu Asogwa emerged as candidates for various senatorial districts.

Imo State's candidates include Alex Mbata for Imo East and Governor Hope Uzodimma for Imo West. The list also features candidates from Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, and other states, with notable mentions like Godswill Akpabio for Akwa Ibom North West and Yahaya Bello for Kogi Central.
