APC Names Members for Ward and LG Appeal Committees

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially named the members of its ward and local government appeal screening committees. This announcement was made in a statement signed by Felix Morka, the APC National Public Secretary, and Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.

The party has scheduled the ward congress for February 18, 2026, with the national convention set for March 27-28, 2026. The announcement followed the 183rd meeting of the party's National Working Committee (NWC).

Notably, the congress in Osun and Ekiti states has been excluded from the schedule due to upcoming elections, while Rivers State is excluded due to the current executive committee's tenure. Former Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari has been appointed as the chairman of the APC Central Coordinating Committee for the 2026 national convention.

Other notable appointments include Hope Uzodimma as treasurer and Anyim Pius Anyim as vice chairman. The committee's membership comprises former governors, senators, and party leaders from across the country.
