‘APC Now A Private Enterprise’ – Ex Presidential Aide Writes Buhari

A former presidential aide has criticized President Buhari in a strongly worded message posted on a verified Facebook page. The aide, Thursday Onochie, expressed dismay over the degeneration of the ruling party, APC, since Buhari left office.

Onochie highlighted the loss of values that Buhari championed, such as fairness, equity, justice, and accountability. Referring to a culture of impunity and rewarding wrongdoing within the APC, Onochie emphasized the need for a return to these principles.

Despite the criticism, Onochie assured followers of the late former president that they would not abandon the principles he upheld. Buhari reportedly passed away in a London hospital on July 13, 2025, at the age of 82, and was buried in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State.
