Tinubu Wins APC Presidential Primary in Kwara State

In the APC presidential primary held in Kwara State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerged victorious, receiving 310,990 votes. His only rival, Stanlei Osifo, did not receive any votes.

The election took place at the APC collation center in Ilorin, overseen by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq. The total number of registered party members for this primary was 457,374, with 310,990 members accredited to participate in the voting process.

All votes cast were deemed valid. Following the results, Tinubu was declared the winner in accordance with APC guidelines, marking a significant step in the final phase of the APC primary elections in Kwara State.

This primary follows earlier contests for various political positions, including governorship and legislative seats, amidst notable political tension within the ruling party.
