APC Primary Crisis: Alleged Attack on Prof. Dandaura

The Nasarawa Youth Vanguard issued a statement condemning an alleged attack on Prof. Emmanuel Dandaura, a member of the APC, during the recent primary elections in Nasarawa State.

The group accused political hoodlums of attempting to coerce Dandaura to support a preferred candidate, claiming that these individuals laid an ambush to intimidate him. The statement, released by the group's Director General, Comrade Mondai Isah, emphasized that Dandaura's participation in the elections reflected the will of the party members and that no individual should interfere with the democratic process.

The group described Dandaura as a respected intellectual and a significant figure in the state, having served in public life for 37 years. They warned against political intimidation and violence, calling for immediate investigations by security agencies into the incident.

The Nasarawa Youth Vanguard threatened legal action against those identified in the incident if authorities failed to act within 48 hours.
