Yusuf Buhari Wins APC Primary for Katsina House Seat

Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari, son of former President Muhammadu Buhari, declared victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the House of Representatives seat representing Sandamu, Daura, and Mai Adua constituencies in Katsina State. He received a total of 5,849 votes, decisively defeating his opponent, Auwal Lawal Daura, who garnered only 21 votes.

Following his victory, Yusuf Buhari addressed his opponents, urging those dissatisfied with the election results to seek solutions independently. The primary election results affirm his position as the APC candidate for the upcoming elections, reflecting significant support within the party and the constituency.
