APC Screens Abass and Kalu for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has completed the screening process for its candidates for the 2027 elections, successfully evaluating Tajudeen Abass, the Speaker of the House, and Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker. The screening took place at the Treasury Suite in Confer Hotel, where both candidates submitted their nomination forms.

The process was overseen by Godswill Akpabio, the Deputy Senate President, and Jibrin Barau, who ensured adherence to party rules. This screening marks a crucial development for the APC as it prepares for the upcoming general elections, with the party concluding its screening of aspirants seeking its ticket for the elections.

The successful completion of this process is expected to facilitate the party's legislative leadership responsibilities in the 10th National Assembly.
