APC Supporters Attacked Ahead of Radda's Rally in Katsina

On Saturday, suspected hoodlums attacked All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters in Yankara town, injuring several individuals and setting a campaign vehicle ablaze just hours before Governor Dikko Umaru Radda's rally in Faskari Local Government Area. The attackers blocked a major road used by the campaign convoy, causing panic among residents and disrupting movement.
Alhaji Nura Sule Yandaki, Caucus Chairman of the Musa Adamu Network, reported being caught in the violence while traveling with 11 team members. The violence reportedly erupted when members of an Islamic group conducting a Maulud procession crossed the area, allowing hoodlums to target APC supporters' vehicles.
A vehicle belonging to the Musa Adamu Network was among those burned. Witnesses claimed two APC supporters suffered fatal injuries, although this has not been verified.
Shamsuddeen Sani Lema, Secretary of the Musa Adamu Network, condemned the violence and called for stronger security measures. Despite the incident, Governor Radda proceeded with the Tinubu-Dikko 2027 Campaign Rally, where he discussed his administration's achievements.
