APC Suspends Former Governor Over Alleged Anti-party Activities

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended a former governor over alleged anti-party activities, as reported by the party's Director of Publicity. The suspension of Daniel Folarin, a member of the APC in Ward 4 and Ward 6 of Sagamu Local Government Area, followed a review of a report submitted by the ward disciplinary committee.

The statement explained that Folarin and others were formally invited to appear before their respective committees to present a defense and seek pardon. However, Folarin reportedly failed to respond to the invitation, provide a written defense, or attend the disciplinary meeting.

The party accused the suspended member of frustrating the process. The statement emphasized that the suspension was necessary to protect the integrity of the disciplinary process.
