APC Suspends Former Ogun State Governor Gbenga Daniel

The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended former governor and current senator representing Ogun East, Gbenga Daniel, along with party chieftain Kunle Folarin. The State Working Committee (SWC) made this decision following allegations of misconduct.

The suspension was based on the recommendation of a disciplinary panel set up in Ward 4 and Ward 6 of Sagamu Local Government Area. The party stated that Daniel and Folarin were invited to defend themselves but failed to do so, leading to their indefinite suspension.

The APC accused the duo of attempting to obstruct the disciplinary process by intimidating members and pressuring them to withdraw petitions. The party emphasized the importance of upholding discipline and integrity within its ranks.
