APC Suspends Fubara Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended Fubara for alleged anti-party activities, as confirmed by the ward leadership in Bonny Local Government Area, Rivers State. This decision was made by the Ward 4 Executive Committee during a meeting held on March 16, where they resolved to suspend Fubara indefinitely for allegedly violating the party's constitution.

The committee, led by Chairman Richard Ibani and Secretary Donald Jumbo, accused Fubara of engaging in actions that could embarrass the party, breaching Article 21(2)(ii)(vii) of the APC constitution as amended in 2022. In response, Dagogo has indicated plans to take legal action against the APC, approaching the Federal High Court in Abuja to seek a halt to the party's planned convention.

Dagogo claims to have paid the 5.1 million naira nomination fee but has not received the nomination form, and he is contesting the eligibility to run for the position of National Vice Chairman, South-South.
