Rivers APC Suspends Fubara for Anti-Party Activities

The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended Fubara due to alleged anti-party activities and gross misconduct. This decision was made during a committee meeting held on March 16, where the leadership emphasized that Fubara's actions were in violation of the APC's constitution, specifically citing Article 21 (2) (ii) and (vii) regarding member conduct.

The ward chairman, Richard Ibani, announced the suspension, which took effect immediately, and was confirmed by a document signed by the ward secretary, Donald Jumbo, along with 21 executive members. The committee expressed that Fubara's actions had embarrassed the party and showed a lack of respect for its constitution.

Additionally, Dagogo, a prominent member from Bonny Local Government Area, has taken legal action against the APC, seeking to halt the party's plans and contest for the position of national vice chairman for the South-South, claiming he was unjustly prevented from doing so.
