APC Wins Five of Six Chairmanship Seats in FCT Elections

In the recent FCT Area Council elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) achieved a significant victory by winning five out of six chairmanship positions. Joshua Ishaku emerged as the winner in Bwari Area Council, securing 18,466 votes.

Similarly, Chri Garki won the chairmanship position in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), further solidifying APC's influence in the Federal Capital Territory. Other APC candidates, including Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo in Kuje Area Council and Nuhu Daniel in Kwali Area Council, also triumphed.

However, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) managed to capture the Gwagwalada Area Council, with candidate Kasim Moham winning there. The outcome of these elections reinforces the APC's dominance in the FCT, as they retain control over the majority of the area councils, positioning themselves favorably for future political contests.
